After Disney's announcement that it will stop distributing its content on Netflix with a view to launch its own streaming service in 2019, both company's stock price dropped the following day. While this isn't necessarily a bad move for Disney or Netflix, this will probably impact other sides of the TV industry.

This week Rdio filed for bankruptcy, making it clear what everyone already knows but has difficulty in admitting: music streaming is a broken business model. Companies like Spotify, Deezer or Pandora will have a very hard time to remain sustainable over the long term so... what can they do?

Netflix announced that it won't be renewing the licensing deal with Epix. Instead, it will focus on a much more interesting and successful strategy: increasing budget on producing original and high quality content.
